Relic Entertainment is apparently having a tough time. The studio responsible for, among other things, Company of Heroes 3 and Age of Empires IV has seen more than 100 people laid off.
Developers of Company of Heroes 3 and Age of Empires IV are not currently in a good position. Relic Entertainment announced on its profile on Twitter significant changes that have affected the staff. 121 people have been laid off, which is almost half of the entire team (according to Wikipedia a few months ago it had over 300 employees).

Relic Entertainment has assured that it will continue to develop its titles, including Company of Heroes 3. As for this latest studio strategy, it too is not having a good period. March update disappointed the players (primarily with the microtransaction store), and the game itself is not doing well - on Steam, it has mixed reviews and is not very popular.
It remains to be hoped that despite the massive layoffs, Relic is not facing closure and will provide us with good updates to its current and future games.
