Commandos: Origins finally with release date. Classic strategy series returns in April

Kalypso Media company has revealed the release date of Commandos: Origins, the latest installment of the series that popularized stealth strategies.

1. The digital version of Commandos: Origins will be released on April 9th this year. On that day, the game will launch simultaneously on PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5. We will wait for the physical editions for these platforms until May 22nd.
2. Also on April 9th ,Commandos: Origins will be added to Game Pass - both on PC and Xbox X/S consoles.
3. Future plans also include versions for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but for now, the developers are unable to provide their release dates.

It's worth reminding that the release of Commandos: Origins was initially planned for last year. In October, however, the devs released a demo (which you can still check out on Steam) and it showed that the game isn't yet ready for release.

The impressions of players from the demo version, as well as beta tests, led to the decision to postpone the launch to 2025. We can only hope that by April 9th, the creators will be able to bring the production up to the level that this classic brand deserves.
