Rumor: List of Free DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 Leaked Online [UPDATE #2]

A leak surfaced on the web, revealing possible titles of free DLCs for Cyberpunk 2077. The names enable us to draw some conclusions about the content we might be getting.

Update #2:

In an email sent to the editors of IGN, CD Projekt RED denied the following reports, stating that the titles cited in them are not the names of DLCs planned for Cyberpunk 2077. However, this does not mean that all the information was false - it is possible that the leak revealed planned titles that have changed, or so-called placeholders / code names.

Update:

The author of yesterday's leak has revealed on Reddit how he came into possession of the information below. He also denied that the images were created in Photoshop.

"One of the comments asked me to show how I managed to obtain this information, so they could validate it themselves, to which I replied "For a price, yes". Shortly after I made that comment, I deleted it and that was because I wasn't asking for money. By "price" I meant all of the risks involved with making some sensitive info public. I have not and will not receive any payment whatsoever to share the sensitive info.

Another comment pointed out that the screenshots provided as proof are photoshopped. The screenshots I posted are all I could provide at the time without sharing sensitive info. Also, I wouldn't go through the effort of photoshop cuz I'm bad at it :P

How I obtained this information: Epic uses AES keys to encrypt most of their servers. When the correct AES key has been found and the encryption lock has been bypassed, some info that is supposed to be available to developers becomes visible in an early preview of EGS storefront."

IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. A list of free DLCs for Cyberpunk 2077 has reportedly appeared on Epic Games Store;
  2. One Reddit user managed to take a screen shot, thanks to which we got to know the possible titles.

One Reddit user published a leak that may reveal possible DLCs for Cyberpunk 2077. According to the author of the post, the titles of the DLCs appeared on Epic Games Store. Initially, the list included eighteen items, but eight of them were removed before the author of the post managed to capture them on a screenshot. The list looks as follows:

Cyberpunk 2077 - Leaked Free DLC List

  1. Ripperdocs Expansion
  2. Body Shops Expansion
  3. Fashion Forward Expansion
  4. Gangs of Night City
  5. Body of Chrome
  6. Rides of the Dark Future
  7. The Relic
  8. Neck Deep
  9. Night City Expansion
  10. Unnamed

In some cases it's pretty easy to tell what the DLC might be about - e.g. Ripperdocs Expansion, Body Shops Expansion or Fashion Forward Expansion most likely expand on the various shops available in the game world or introduce completely new ones (because I don't recall such a thing as a "body shop" in Night City). Perhaps we'll get more options in terms of character customization?

Rides of the Dark Future (new vehicles) is also fairly explicit, but the others remain a mystery. The Relic, Gangs of Night City and Neck Deep could all be additional quests. The same goes for Body of Chrome, although it's also possible that it's just another DLC with cosmetic items (many players have complained about not being able to use appearance-modifying cyberware for their characters). The biggest enigma (aside from the untitled DLC) is probably the Night City Expansion, which could be just about anything.

It's worth noting that the expansions are no longer visible on the game's card in Epic Games Store, and images have been removed from Reddit - so approach these reports with some caution.
