Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.3 and DLC Presentation Disappointed the Community

Presented during yesterday's live broadcast, the new features that will be coming to Cyberpunk 2077 were a disappointment for the fans, to say the least.

After waiting so long for a new update for Cyberpunk 2077, the fans were surely expecting some sort of big announcement. After all, rumors spoke of upcoming DLCs - surely that must be something, right? However, CD Projekt RED's stream from yesterday turned out to be a complete disappointment. During the broadcast, developers presented all the new features to be found in patch 1.3, and while it might seem that the list of changes is long and respectable, the gaming community has not left a dry eye on the developers.

Where to begin? Maybe with the now infamous free DLCs, which the developers announced during yesterday's streaming. Taking into account the time since the release of the game (and damaged trust) we hoped for something more than two new jackets, a new vehicle, or an alternate look for Johnny Silverhand.

Since yesterday, a festival of mocking CD Projekt RED continues on several forums. The fans once again feel disappointed and express it in the comments. One of the Reddit users boasts that he predicted (in part) the new content of Cyberpunk.

Although the stream wanted to show how CP 2077 is going to change in the upcoming patch, it was impossible to avoid all sorts of bugs that are still present in the game, which also did not escape the attention of commenters.

Below is an example of an NPC performing the now legendary "t-pose":

One forum member even joked that t-pose is still so common in Cyberpunk that it should be included in the game's lore.

The whole thing was summed up by user Alexej1989:

"First, the dev team came on stage and apologized for the poor launch of the game. They said that they wanted to make up for it and put most of their focus in the last months on performance improvements, QoL and 'environmental changes' (meaning putting more life into the game).

Then they presented the long list of changes, incl. minimap, police spawning, spawning in general really, perks, and a lot lot lot of major and minor bug / glitch optimizations. It looked really promising!

They teased one big DLC concerning Judy and showed initial videos from the next-gen patch coming October.

..... ok I am just kidding. They are just chatting casually about how you can feed a cat, how you can smirk now in the mirror, and that there will be a lot of "very small" DLCs until someday a major one is released. I am actually shocked by what I am seeing right now."

Below we present a set of popular posts that appeared on Cyberpunk 2077's subreddit regarding patch 1.3:

After CD Projekt RED's presentation yesterday, players are starting to doubt whether Cyberpunk 2077 can ever be brought to its intended state. Well, the work plan for the coming months assumes "a lot of fixes and improvements", but despite their introduction the game is still full of shortcomings that players write about. Before the end of this year, the team has announced an update of the game for next-gen consoles. Maybe then we will get some positives.
