On Thursday Cyberpunk 2077 received a minor patch numbered 2.01 on PC and 9nth-gen consoles (i.e., PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S). It fixed a number of bugs, mainly those related to the tasks available in Phantom Liberty. It was also intended to enable the players who preordered Phantom Liberty to pick up their bonuses. We could read about it in the list of changes published on the game's official website:

"Players who pre-ordered Phantom Liberty, but did not receive the Quadra Sport R-7 "Vigilante," will now receive the car."

Unfortunately, some players, despite the patch still could not receive the promised car. Today on X/Twitter the developers announced that they are aware of the bug and intend to fix it in the next update. The post mentioned that owners of Xbox Series X/S consoles will eventually receive the bonus, as they are the ones experiencing the problem. However, the upcoming patch will most likely also apply to Sony's current-generation consoles and PCs.

Aside from this brief mention we don't know what exactly the upcoming update will change. It will probably fix more bugs related to tasks or the interface. The patch may please some players who, after patch 2.01, don't see hardware icons, have problems launching the game or its optimization - the most frequent complain of fans after updating Cyberpunk. However, it is not known when exactly the next patch will be released.

It's also worth mentioning that players temporarily cannot report bugs they encounter on the game's support page. Marcin Momot, community director at CD Projekt RED, replied, that the team is already addressing the issue.

Update 2.01 is closely related to the big patch 2.0, which changed many of the game's mechanics, and the Phantom Liberty DLC. For this reason, the larger patches no longer apply to PS4 and Xbox One consoles, but only to PS5, XSX/S and PC.
