The announcement of Grand Theft Auto 6 in December last year was one of the most important gaming events of recent months. Fans of the series are still analyzing the trailer in search of easter eggs, hidden information, or just plain trivia despite not having much info. One frame shows an intriguing inscription on the currency in the universe, referencing the players' behavior.

GTA 6 devs mock sensation-seeking fans

With the Grand Theft Auto series, Rockstar has always been able to comment on reality and certain behaviors. Fans are hopeful that the sixth installment will follow a similar pattern, and maybe the trailer itself will uncover some details about it. According to Reddit user BroPleaseListenToMe, one of the frames of the GTA 6 trailer shows that the words "The United States of Paranoia" are written on the banknotes.

The shared screenshot isn't very clear, and some commenters doubt if the text really looks the way BroPleaseListenToMe describes it. Some, however, are willing to agree with the author of the post and even speculate on why the word "paranoia" may have appeared.

Good currency for this sub.

You people need to go outside, instead of looking for clues as to when a damn commercial is coming out.

Paranoia in the comments revealed itself in yet another way. Fans began to look for something in the arrangement of numbers on the banknote and wondered whether the United States in the GTA universe was called differently since the word "paranoia" was added there. Another Reddit user paid attention to this:

I think everyone's looking too deep into it. It's probably just a joke on how America's always paranoid or something.

As you can see, the post did its job. Commenters searched for a different meaning and examined other elements of the photo, somehow confirming the paranoia among GTA fans. Maybe the developers have something else hidden up their sleeve that will humorously show the players' behavior.
