Disney Dreamlight Valley's Inside Out Update is just around the corner. Fans wonder which new characters are coming

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a dream come true for players who enjoy Disney and Pixar movies. The game features popular characters from many iconic animations, with more and more added every year. It looks like the next addition to the rooster of heroes will be from the Inside Out. However, we still can’t be sure about who exactly we will see, but we have some predictions.

Who will be added to Disney Dreamlight Valley in Inside Out update

While it was not officially announced, we can be pretty sure that the next Disney Dreamlight Valley will be about Inside Out. We got the first hint when the image with 2025 roadmap was released. The first picture features furniture which seems to be inspired by the movie. However, the description is even more straightforward – “Get in touch with your emotions.” And as we know, Inside Out is all about emotions in our heads. More precisely 5 of them - Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust.

Of course, there are even more characters in Inside Out 2. However, with the recent post on Disney Dreamlight Valley X, featuring 5 beds which suits 5 original emotions perfectly, we can be pretty sure who will star in this update.

As our colleagues from GamePro noticed, the post sparked a big discussion among the community. It is all due to the possibility that as many as 5 characters may join the game. However, it seems unlikely. Up until now, we have had a chance to meet 2-3 new heroes or villains in one update. It is more probably that we will see only part of the cast this time, and the rest later. Our bet is on Joy and Sadness first. Joy because she is the main protagonist of the movie. The second guess is for Sadness, as she is Joy’s direct counterpart and her glasses are clearly visible on the 2025 Roadmap graphic. This stand seems to be shared by creators of Disney wiki, as the page dedicated to Disney Dreamlight Valley also features these two characters as the upcoming ones.

However, there are other interesting theories. For example, a Reddit user jason9045 suggested that we might see not five separate characters, but all of them in one person. It would also fit the movie perfectly. So, who knows? We may see Riley herself, who is taken by various emotions at some points. For now, we need to wait for the official news.

When to expect Disney Dreamlight Valley Inside Out update

The obvious answer is this summer. The precise date has not been revealed yet, though. However, we may assume that it will be in August. With the Mysteries of Skull Rock in June, and the usual month of break between updates, it seems the most possible date.
