D&D: Dark Alliance Launches to Mixed Reviews

The day has come for the release of Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance. Reviews of the game are mixed, and the reception on Steam - visibly negative.

Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance, an action RPG by Tuque Games has launched. The game was released on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.

The PC edition can be purchased on Steam, and in a few hours it will also appear on Epic Games Store. If you buy the PS4 or Xbox One edition, you'll also get the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions, respectively, for free. It is worth mentioning that the game is also available in Xbox Game Pass - both on Microsoft consoles and PC.

Many reviews of the game are already available on the web and the reception of Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is mixed. On Metacritic, the PC edition has an average rating of 63%. The PS5 has 69%, and the Xbox Series X/S - 60%. The other versions have too few reviews for the website to be ready to give an average.

As you can see, the spread in ratings is very large and it's hard to draw any conclusions. In general, reviewers agree that the game is designed mainly for co-op, as playing solo forces a ton of grind. The storyline and technical condition are also criticized. Many editors praise the combat mechanics, but others say they are too simple.

Gamers, on the other hand, at least on PC, have received the game very coldly. On Steam only 29% of user reviews are positive, which the webite classifies as a "mostly negative" reception. There are only 57 reviews so far, so it is possible that this result will improve.
