The first warrior to be added to Tekken 8 as part of the DLC has been presented. Bandai Namco has released the intro to the new installment of the popular combat game series, along with the announcement of its first season.

As last year's leak revealed, the first DLC will see the return of Eddy Gordo, well known to fans of the series since the iconic Tekken 3. You can view all the material published by the publisher below.

The capoeira master will join Tekken 8 in the spring. They didn't give an exact date or mention who the next players showing up in the first season of the game will be. It has only been confirmed that the next DLCs will appear in the coming seasons, i.e. in the summer, autumn, and winter of 2024.

In addition to Eddy and Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima and the rest of the warriors shown in the game's opening cinematic, the developer also released a separate gameplay demonstration for another returning character: Zafina, who specializes in astrology and assassinations.

The Indian temple guard played a significant role in the plot of the sixth Tekken. However, the consequences of these events still weigh heavily on the heroine, who clearly has a problem keeping her demonic prisoner under control.

Tekken 8 will release on January 26 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Impatient players can check out the game's demo version.
