Electronic Arts, on the occasion of the start of spring sales in some digital stores, has made the DLC for The Sims 4 available for free. There is plenty of time to pick up the Backyard Stuff expansion.
On the occasion of the upcoming start of spring, big sales have started on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The Electronic Arts store has also launched such a promotion, celebrating by giving away DLC for its popular title. Starting today, you can receive the Backyard Stuff pack for The Sims 4 for free.
The promotion will last quite a while, as it will end on April 13. It pertains to all platforms on which the "base game" was released, including PCs, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One consoles. You can receive the DLC on on Steam, in the Epic Games Store, or directly in the EA app.

This isn't the first such giveaway organized by EA, as at the end of last year we could get the My First Pet Stuff pack for free (then only on PC). Therefore, there is hope that similar opportunities to obtain other smaller bonuses will arise in the future.
It's worth mentioning that during the spring sales on Steam, in the Electronic Arts store and in the Epic Games Store, you can purchase some packages for The Sims 4 at reduced prices. On Valve's platform, you can get such expansions cheaper, like Star Wars: Journey to Batuu ($11.99), Cats and Dogs ($15.99), or For Rent ($29.99).
