Elon Musk Won't Take Covid-19 Vaccine, Calls Gates a Knucklehead

Elon Musk made another controversial press statement. This time he said that neither he nor his family are going to be vaccinated against Covid-19. The billionaire responded to Bill Gates' criticism, calling the founder of Microsoft a knucklehead.

IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. Elon Musk and his family are not going to be vaccinated against Covid-19;
  2. The billionaire criticized the lockdown and said that SpaceX didn't stop working even for a day during the pandemic;
  3. By the way, the inventor called Bill Gates a knucklehead.

During the Sway podcast organized by the New York Times editorial team, billionaire Elon Musk stated that neither he nor his family intended to be vaccinated against Covid-19, caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. The businessman also criticized the lockdown policy, considering it unethical.

"I'm not at risk for Covid, nor are my kids," said Musk, adding that lockdown is a "no-win situation," which "has struck at his faith in humanity.

Elon Musk stressed that SpaceX did not stop working even for one day. The law was not broken - this was possible thanks to the appropriate permits and safety certificates, in connection with work on matters of national importance (more specifically, transporting astronauts to the space station).

The billionaire also referred - without mincing his words - to Bill Gates' critical opinions about himself (a few months ago the creator of Microsoft called him stupid).

"Gates said something about me not knowing what I was doing,. It's like, hey, knucklehead, we actually make the vaccine machines for CureVac, that company you're invested in," [Tesla makes equipment for the German biopharmaceutical company CureVac - editorial note].
