Escape the Backrooms is a psychological horror game that takes players on a chilling journey through endless maze-like rooms. Trapped in an otherworldly dimension, your only goal is to survive and find a way out. Navigate through eerie corridors, solve puzzles, and encounter terrifying entities as you unravel the mysteries of this nightmarish realm. Many players are charmed by this kind of gameplay and would like to enjoy it on the consoles. In this guide we will talk about PS5, PS4, Xbox and Switch ports.

Escape the Backrooms – PS5, PS4, Xbox and Switch

If you would like to play Escape the Backrooms on the console, we have good news for you – it is not possible now, but you will be able to do so in the future. Sadly, at the moment, only PC players can try the game. Nevertheless, it will change after the early access period. On the official Discord server we may find FAQ, which states clearly that:

Will it come to consoles? (PS, XBOX, etc)

Yes! Once the game is out in full release we're going to put it on consoles.

It means that the Escape the Backrooms will be available at least on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S after the release of 1.0 version. We may also speculate about other consoles like PS4, Xbox One and Switch. Nevertheless, those are not certain, and we will have to wait for more information regarding this matter.
