ETS2 Devs Boast of Revamped Roads Around 'The Roof of Europe'
SCS Software has finally unveiled new footage of the upcoming refreshed version of the Swiss map for Euro Truck Simulator 2. Beautiful roads and tunnels around Mont Blanc are shown.
Developers of Euro Truck Simulator 2 prepared something good for fans who are looking forward to the refreshed map of Switzerland. The last news and materials about it were made available in June - they presented dangerous-looking winding roads in the high Alps.
Today SCS Software showed off images that don't look as extreme as last time, but are still breathtaking. This is because they demonstrated the roads around the so-called "Roof of Europe," or Mont Blanc. Although the highest peak in the Alps is not part of Switzerland, the developers announced that they could not resist presenting it.
SCS Software pays special attention to the very famous Mont Blanc tunnel. It connects the French town of Chamonix with the Aosta Valley in Italy. You'll see this landmark, fronted by a tall white arch, and other footage of the refreshed map of Switzerland below.

The developers already released the first footage of the revised Switzerland last year. We saw, among others, such beautiful cities as Bern, Geneva and Zurich. On the other hand, we could admire the more mountainous areas in March - when the devs revealed screenshots from the Alps.
Unfortunately, we still don't know when the refreshed Switzerland will hit Euro Truck Simulator 2. It is worth recalling that the developers are to change the road layout on the occasion, as well as add new companies and routes - including the A40 and E25. All improvements will be available for free to owners of the basic version of ETS 2 as part of an update.
