FF7 Rebirth - How to Skip Chapter 1 Nibelheim

Many fans have a huge sentiment towards Final Fantasy series. However, the one instalment that seems to be most in everyone’s heart is Final Fantasy VII. Due to this, it is no surprise that many players were delighted to hear that this part of the series will be remade. The scale of the remake is unusual, as it spans through 3 separate releases. In the case of the second one, subtitled Rebirth, the community was able to jump into a demo offered by the developers. It features a Nibelheim village portion of Chapter 1 that has to be replayed in full version… or does it? Here you will learn how to skip it, thus saving some time and progress.

Skipping Chapter 1 in FFVII Rebirth

There was virtually no reason not to try demo of FFVII Rebirth that was offered by Square Enix. Many fans have completed it, waiting for more of their favourite series. They were even prepared to redo the Nibelheim portion of the title in the full game, if necessary. Fortunately, the developers thought about those players and allowed them to skip part of the first chapter already included in the preview.

Doing so is very easy, yet the procedure can be a bit less obvious. To skip the Nibelheim, follow the steps below:

1. In the main menu of FFVII Rebirth choose “Bonuses” option.
2. You should be informed about all the bonus items that can be earned by playing the demo / FF7 Remake / FF7R Episode Intermission. Confirm by selecting the “Check Saved Data” button.
3. With that done, you should be informed about the ability to skip a part of Chapter 1.

If all the steps above are completed, you can now jump into the game and enjoy it. When the time comes, you will be notified that it is possible to skip ahead. Keep in mind that you will have to play portion of Nibelheim village before the option pops up.
