EA Keeps on Supporting Women's Soccer; FIFA 23 With New Modes

The FIFA Women's World Cup will not go unnoticed in FIFA 23. On the occasion of the upcoming championship, EA Sports is preparing an update that will introduce new game modes.

EA Sports has announced a number of new features coming to FIFA 23 on the occasion of the upcoming Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. The update, which will be released at the end of June, will introduce three new game modes.

  1. The first of these will be Lead Your Country, which is a game variant where we will play the role of one of the real players or a self-created sportswoman, and in her skin we will lead one of the 32 qualified national teams to victory. As we play out successive matches, we will be able to control either only our female athlete or the entire team.
  2. The second new mode will be Tournament Mode. In it, we will receive 32 qualified national teams, and our task will be to lead one of them from the group stage until the grand finals.
  3. The third mode is Quick Match, giving us the opportunity to play on our own terms, locally or against the AI, with group or knockout matches in which two of the 32 teams participating in the tournament will face each other.

In addition, special stadium decorations, movie cut-scenes, unique match presentations and dedicated commentary have been prepared for the update. Of course, there will be an authentic trophy waiting to be won by the winners of the real tournament.
