GRID's gonna roll into the store shelves on Friday.

We are only a few days away from the release of GRID, the latest installment of the popular series of racing games from Codemasters. A lot of reviews have already appeared on the web, which allow us to answer the question whether the production has fulfilled the hopes placed in it.

According to Open Critic , GRID has an average rating of 78%. Below are some examples of review scores:

  2. Wccftech - 9/10
  3. PowerUp - 9.0/10
  4. Heavy - 8.75/10
  5. IGN - 8/10
  6. Gaming Trend - 80/100
  7. Screen Rant - 4/5
  8. Metro.co.uk - 7/10

  11. TheSixthAxis - 7/10
  12. Gaming Bolt - 7/10

  14. GameSkinny - 6/10

The reviewers praise the driving model, physics and visuals. Artificial intelligence is also very impressive, as the rivals controlled by the computer are competent, aggressive and realistically responsive to events during races.

GRID has been criticized for its modest number of tracks and short career mode with little variety of challenges. Many reviewers also did not like the heavily reduced options for managing the team.

GRID is coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with its release scheduled for October 11.
