Forgot About First Alan Wake? Fortnite Will Remind You [Update]

We are just a little over a week away from the release of Alan Wake 2, the latest game from Remedy. On this occasion, the publisher, Epic Games, has prepared an unusual way to remind of the plot of the first part.

1. Fortnite added new content, titled Alan Wake: Flashback, developed jointly by Remedy Entertainment, Spiral House and Zen Creative studios.
2. It's a short single-player adventure of a few dozen minutes that summarizes the most important events of the first part of Alan Wake and the DLCs for that game.
3. Alan Wake: Flashback can be loaded from the Discovery screen in Fortnite or independently with the island code 3426-5561-3374.
4. Remedy assures that the second part of the series was constructed so that knowledge of the plot of the first part is not necessary to play, but the adventure in Fortnite is still a noteworthy way to remember the story from Alan Wake and this knowledge will certainly enhance the fun in the sequel.

Not just Alan Wake: Flashback

Alan Wake: Flashback is not the only attraction waiting for fans of the series in Fortnite. On October 26, new cosmetic items inspired by the series from Remedy will appear in the game's virtual store. In addition, those who have preordered AW2 will receive Alan's skin and his bag in Fortnite.

Alan Wake 2 will debut on October 27, this year. The game will be released simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. The game will be developed after the release both through paid DLCs and large free updates with new content.

It is worth mentioning that the developers have admitted that they have a lot of problems with the Xbox Series S edition. The game on this console will still look good, but Alan Wake 2 will spread its wings only on other gaming devices.
