February 15th marks the day of Festivale in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. But the celebration starts early, with a free update available January 28th. Pave the dancing peacock will appear on your island ready to dance the day away.

The free update will also include a few new reactions that can be purchased with in-game Bells, new Festivale themed clothes available February 1st, and much more! From February 1st to the 14th you can find various items celebrating other holidays like Valentine’s Day and Groundhog Day.

On the day of Festivale (February 15th) there will be various colorful floating feathers around the island. Catch these with your net and trade them with Pave in the plaza who will reward you with an impassioned dance. You can visit your friends’ islands as well to join in the celebration with them. Also, don’t forget to keep an eye out for the rare rainbow feathers.
