The PC Gaming Show presentation began with a trailer for Frostpunk 2, the sequel to the excellent strategy game, for which we will unfortunately wait until next year.

Frostpunk 2 Trailer Opens PC Gaming Show.

The PC Gaming Show opened with a trailer for Frostpunk 2, the continuation of the excellent survival strategy game by Polish studio 11 bit.

It was a cinematic trailer, so we'll still have to wait for the first fragments of gameplay.
The action will begin thirty years after the massive blizzard that ended the campaign of the original game.
This time our city is to be powered by oil instead of coal.
In the game, nature will not be the only threat. The player will also be forced to deal with political enemies who had to be removed so that our mayor could maintain power.
Frostpunk 2 will not be released until 2024.
The game is currently heading exclusively to PC.
We will buy it on Steam, as well as on GOG.com and Epic Games Store.

In the game, our city will reach a higher level of development than in the first part, but as the devs assure, this does not mean that survival will be easier. In a comment for PC Gamer Jakub Stokalski from 11 bit stated:

"It is true that the city develops its potential, but it should be remembered that all great civilizations have fallen under the influence of conflicts between people, and one's utopia can become a dystopia for others.

Frostpunk 2 draws a lot from the real world and the situations we see every day, in which the ambitions of some people can lead to the downfall of others."
