Large expansion For Rent for The Sims 4 has lived to see a new trailer - this time with gameplay footage (below).

Debuting on December 7, the expansion to the most popular life simulator will enable the players to become an housing manager in the fictional region of Tomarang, modeled after Thailand.

  • The upcoming DLC will enable the players to invest in residential plots for rent. Players will independently set the terms of the lease.
  • Importantly, owners will be able to live in one building with tenants, of which there may be many in a given location.
  • The appropriate design of the apartments will affect the star rating, which will translate into the popularity of the property.
  • As befits a good property manager, we will take care of regular conversations, look after possessions, and make sure that rent is paid on time.
  • Sims occupying one building will interact with each other in common spaces or at events, sometimes establishing close relationships. However, they will also dig for "dirt" on each other, eavesdropping and making break-ins.
  • Those who are late in paying for their apartment will be taught a lesson by the players; we will be able to hand out reminders, seize their property and, as a last resort, terminate their rental contract.

The Sims 4 For Rent is heading to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.. Pre-ordering the game will get you the minor DLC "Street Food," which will become available with the expansion's debut.
