Genshin Impact's July Marked by Content-packed Patch 3.8

miHoYo held a presentation at which it revealed details of update 3.8 for the popular online game Genshin Impact.

1. The update will introduce a major even called Secret Summer Paradise and will debut on July 5.
2. A new area called Veluriyam Mirage, consisting of high hills, wooded valleys, dark caves and a variety of playable objects, will temporarily appear in the game.
3. In addition to traditional 3D locations, the Veluriyam Mirage area will also offer 2.5D sections in platform game formula.

1. Four summer special events and other attractions also await, including the opportunity to unlock a character named Layla for free.
2. Klee ora Kaeya will get new costumes, which will be unlocked with vouchers collected while exploring Veluriyam Mirage.
3. Kaeya will also receive her own hangout story event.
4. The virtual card game Genius Invokation will receive additional elements, including a new PvE mode called "The Forge Realm's Temper: Endless Swarm", in which we will face waves of enemies, and three new character cards - Candace, Yanfei and Kaedehara Kazuha.

Recall that Genshin Impact is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC and iOS and Android mobile devices. A version for NIntendo Switch is also planned. The game uses a free-to-play model with microtransactions.
