GTA Online Regains Coveted Customization Option

A long-removed feature will return to GTA Online next week, allowing for even more personalization of our vehicles.

As Rockstar Universe reports, a long-lost vehicle customization feature will return to GTA Online next week. We're talking about the personalized license plate creator.

The returning feature is to be based on a web-based tool, which will be accessed via a browser on our PC or phone. After designing our own new plates, they will be delivered to us in the game world. In this way, we will be able to create up to 30 original patterns.

It is worth recalling at this point that personalized license plates are not new to Rockstar game enthusiasts. A similar feature was offered by the iFruit mobile app, which, however, disappeared from official distribution a few months ago. Some players resorted to externally installing an unsupported app in order to regain access to plate edition. It is therefore welcome news that this functionality is returning to the game through official channels.

What's more, as we read on GTAForums, GTA Online will receive a number of gameplay balance changes in the coming weeks. Players can expect adjustments to the prices of a number of vehicles (both up and down), as well as modifications regarding the balance of payouts for missions and their difficulty level. More details can be found in the aforementioned forum.

According to Rockstar Universe, details of the feature should be announced by the developer tomorrow (April 14) on Newswire, a database of information related to the latest updates to the game.
