Helldivers 2 is a new TPP game, which brings back memories of Starship Troopers franchise. Right now, the title is plagued by many technical issues, but many players have an additional problem – how to name the ship. Luckily, this decision is not permanent, and you will be able to change it later. It is quite simple.

Helldivers 2 – How to rename a Ship

After Training mission, you will be transferred to your private ship. It is your base and hub in which you can adjust loadout and manage the vessel. You will be also taken to a screen where it is possible to pick the name for your new home. Luckily, you can change it later.

To rename your ship, you have to play a mission first, it will unlock ship management menu. It is possible to access it through 4 screens which stand in front of the place you appeared for the first time.

Helldivers 2 – How to change your name

Sadly, it seems that there is no in-game method to change your name (at least we couldn’t find one), as the Helldivers 2 automatically uses your account nickname. It appears that the only option is to change your profile ID (Steam or PSN).
