Helldivers 2 System Requirements and New Patapon Series Project [Update #2]
Sony's footage from CES 2024 revealed a new release date for Helldivers 2. The Japanese corporation may also be working on the next installment of the well-liked Patapon series. We also learned the PC requirements of the former game.
Update #2: Errata [ 9:50 a.m.]
It seems that the release date of Helldivers 2 has not changed. Sony has not confirmed the information from the trailer, and therefore, every other source reports that the game will be released on February 8, as originally planned. Most likely, the date of February 28 was a mistake that accidentally slipped into the trailer.
Update #1
Helldivers 2 will support resolutions up to 4K on PC, mouse and keyboard control,s but also the PS5 DualSense controller. The cross-play feature between PC and PS5 has also been confirmed. More details can be found in the video presenting the features of the PC edition of the game. In turn, the system requirements for the PC edition of the game were revealed on the PlayStation blog.

This year's CES 2024 would not be complete without the leading player in the technology market - Sony. In addition to their latest products, the Japanese company also presented in Las Vegas a short promotional material for PlayStation 5 and games heading to the console.
There would be nothing extraordinary about it, if not for the fact that the release date of the online shooter Helldivers 2 visible in the aforementioned material is different from the one known so far. According to the information from the trailer, the game by Arrowhead Game Studios will be released on February 28 (not February 8).
At the time of writing this message, none of the parties - i.e. neither the developer nor the publisher - responded to the situation. Therefore, it is not known whether Sony inadvertently announced the delay of Helldivers 2, or whether the new date is the result of a simple mistake.
Patapon is returning?
What's also interesting, while presenting its new visualization tool called Torchlight, Sony has shown fragments of a mysterious game from the Patapon series . The text appearing on the screen at that time informed that this is a project of a "game/anime in development". Although the company representatives did not reveal what this work is, the messages and interface visible in the material suggest that it may be about this former medium. See for yourselves:
Let's remind that the premiere of the last full-fledged installment of the series took place in 2011, when Patapon 3 was released on PlayStation Portable.
