Hideo Kojima at Apple Conference; His Games Coming to macOS

At WWDC 2023, Apple announced that macOS Sonoma will receive Game Mode. Interestingly, Hideo Kojima himself appeared during the presentation of the mode.

During the WWDC 2023 Apple announced an update of its macOS to Sonoma. It will include a number of new features - including a dedicated Game Mode for gamers. Interestingly, the presentation featured Hideo Kojima, who announced that Death Stranding will hit the Cupertino giant's devices later this year. In the future, the developer's other games are also expected to arrive on the system.

What exactly is the Game Mode supposed to introduce? First of all, it is supposed to increase the performance of games on macOS devices.

  1. In this mode, the computer will give the greatest priority just to games. This is mainly about CPU and graphics consumption.
  2. Bluetooth connectivity has also been improved. In this way, controllers will work better when connected to the computer.
  3. Among the games to run in this mode we will find, among others, Elex 2, The Medium, Stray and Resident Evil Village.

In addition, there is also to be a system that will make it easier for developers to port games to macOS. So it is possible that we will see more games on this system in the future.
