How to get Frost Thristle in Fae Farm
Frost Thristle is an item needed to make Fireproof Potion. It is necessary to survive in Scorched Caverns. Unfortunately, some players have a problem obtaining it, because despite having Silver Sickle and a high level of Foraging, they cannot collect it. For this to be possible, you need to first complete the quest called A Frozen Friend.
A Frozen Friend in Fae Farm
When you hit the chilly mountains, you will find that Grell is located there. He is a large but friendly creature that needs some company. He will ask the player if they would like to become his friend and have a meal with him. To complete this task, you need to bring:
- 3 Polished Sapphire - These can be obtained by acquiring Rough Sapphires in Floating Ruins. To make 1 Polished Sapphire, you need 10 Rough Sapphires, so you must have 30 pieces in total. Then you need to put them in the Gem Polisher.
- 5 Berry Jams - You can get the fruits by collecting them around the human village. Then you need to interact with the Food Prep Table, to turn them into Mixed Berries. Then craft Jam using Artisan Table.

- 10 Flutter Dust - You can catch butterflies and moths around your farm in the starting location. Flutter Dust can be obtained by placing these flying creatures in the Lowlands Critter Conservatory.
- 30 Chopped Vegetables - Here all you need to do is use any vegetables. Chop them up using the Prep Table.
Now all you have to do is carry the meal to Grell. The next day the cold around the mountain will disperse and you will be able to obtain Frost Thristle. Congratulations - you have simultaneously fed a great creature and thus you can be proud of yourself.
