The Frozen Friend quest in Fae Farm requires a lot of farming, and one of produce you need to grow is Frozen Beet. This vegetable is a not an ordinary crop, and as such, cannot be easily grown from seeds. Here is how to obtain it.

How to Get Frost Beet in Fae Farm

In order to get Frost Beets in Fae Farm, you have to start from planting Turnips in Fae Soil Beds or in the Elven Homestead. You will also need Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer. You can get it in Holly’s Seed Shop in town for 50 Gold Florin, together with Turnip Seeds, which cost 5 Gold Florin. Keep in mind that in order to purchase the Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer, you will have to be at level 3 of Farming at least.

Alternatively, you can make the Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer yourself on the Garden Bench. The materials are: 1 Mulch, 1 Ammonite and 1 Frog Sweat for each bag.

  1. Optional - Make Fae Soil Beds. You will need 1 Shade Jelly, 1 Flutterwood Log and 1 Spriggan Leaf for each of them.
  2. Plant Turnip Seeds in the Soil Beds you prepared, or in the Elven Homestead.
  3. Use the Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer to turn Turnips into Frost Beets. You can check if the process was successful if the image of the crop that displays when you approach the soil bed has changed. Remember that the effect is not guaranteed, and you may have to wait a little bit for a fertilizer to work.
  4. Wait for harvest. Make sure to water your crops so it doesn’t take longer than 4 days for the Frost Beets to grow.
