Pioneers of Pagonia is a new Early Access game from the creator of The Settlers. The title is definitely inspired by this popular strategy series. The main focus of the gameplay is to gather resources and make our village bigger and bigger. Of course, creating our settlement may take some time, as Workers have to bring materials, and later construct buildings. It is the reason why many people seek an option to speed up the game. On the other hand, some of them would like to pause it and construct in peace. Let’s talk about both options.

Fortunately, developers prepared an option to speed up the game, It is very useful, especially for impatient people. However, it is well hidden. This feature is above the minimap.

How to Pause Pioneers of Pagonia

To pause the game, you have to open the menu tab by pressing “Esc”. While for many players it makes no difference, fans of active pause will be disappointed. You can’t build while the game is frozen.

It is worth to remember that the title is in early access. There is a chance that it will get this feature in the future.
