How to Start Fishing in Tarisland, Shark Explained

Tarisland is a free-to-play MMORPG with a vast open world. Before setting out to defeat enemies or complete quests assigned by NPCs, you must create your character and choose one of the available classes. It doesn't matter if it's a paladin, a mage or a warrior, each of them must learn anew... how to fish. And avoid sharks, of course! In our guide we explain this issue.
How to Start Fishing in Tarisland
Tarisland offers a number of side activities in addition to just exploring the world and fighting. One of them, for example, is fishing. In order to be able to do this, you must in the first place:
- Make story progress by completing the main missions.
- Go to Trading Post and find NPC named Black Gun.
- Complete his task, after acquiring the Beginner Fishing Rod, equip it in the main slot, which is located at the middle bottom of the screen.
- Go anywhere where there is water.
- Click on the action of your rod, and then select the place where you want to cast the float with the bait.
- When the green bar appears at the top of the screen, you must quickly press the Reel action button to succeed in catching something.
How to Avoid a Shark while Fishing
However, if you want to learn how to avoid sharks, the earlier mini-game will be slightly different from the standard one of catching a regular fish. The actual start of fishing is the same, however, the moment you see a shark, you have to press the Reel action so that the green bar does not disappear completely, but at the same time does not approach the red point, which represents the shark. Keep your marker to the left of the screen
After a few seconds of avoiding the shark, it will get tired, making the red point disappear from the bar. You must then click on your Reel action as fast as possible to fill it up and catch your prey!
