Roads are the most basic element in Cities Skylines 2. Without them you will not build any city. Their proper positioning will keep high traffic flow at not too high expenses. In this guide you will learn how to upgrade and elevate roads in CS2.
In Cities Skylines 2 you have access to three sizes of roads. Each of these has uses in different areas.
Upgrading roads in Cities Skylines 2 is very easy. To do so, you must open the "Roads" tab. In the Tool Mode you will find “Replace” option. Next, select a road you want to upgrade to and click on a street you wish to change. You should remember that if you build a wider or narrower roads, all buildings along them will be destroyed.
It works in exactly the same way with the tram tracks. Go to the “Transportation” tab, next to “Tram” menu. Then choose a “Replace” option.
Cities Skylines 2 allows you to elevate roads. If you want to raise a street then you must go to the "Roads" tab, select a road you want to build and click:
