Indie Hit Successor Hyper Light Breaker on First Gameplay
Check out the first gameplay trailer from the independent action game Hyper Light Breaker. It's the successor to Hyper Light Drifter - an excellent indie from 2016 with a unique soundtrack.
Hyper Light Drifter is one of the greatest indie gems of the last 10 years. So it's no surprise that many fans of Heart Machine's excellent game are waiting for a new game set in this world - Hyper Light Breaker.
The company has just released a new gameplay trailer, which has rekindled interest among gamers - it was viewed more than 350,000 times in a just a dozen hours.

- The title will grace us with a dynamic soundtrack - the original was downright perfect in this regard, thanks to the amazing composer Disasterpeace.
- In the case of Hyper Light Breaker the authors of the soundtrack of the studio's previous game by Heart Machine, i.e. Solar Ash, are responsible for the music.
Dynamic exploration and a mix of open world and dungeons
Developers of Hyper Light Breaker announce that despite setting the game in the world of Hyper Light Drifter, it will present a completely new storyline and will not require the players to be familiar with the original. The world is to consist both of large biomes with an open structure and closed dungeons.
Gameplay and exploration will be varied by stunts, such as running on walls, and the ability to use various gadgets, including a hang glider and a levitating board.
In between missions, we will return to the village, developing as the gameplay progresses. Major novelties include moving the action to full 3D and adding network co-op mode.
According to Heart Machine, the game will be released in early access on Steam in the fall of 2023.. At a later date, the title will probably also hit consoles.
The title will be published by Gearbox Publishing. It is worth adding that some time ago we heard information about an animated series based on Hyper Light Drifter from Netflix. In this case, we are waiting for further developments.
