Hyper Light Breaker PC

Hyper Light Breaker is an action adventure game with roguelike elements. It was developed by Heart Machine, an indie studio responsible for Hyper Light Drifter and Solar Ash.

Plot

Hyper Light Breaker takes us to the fantasy and science fiction universe created for the game Hyper Light Drifter. In the land of Overgrowth the almighty King of the Abyss rules with a firm hand. We play as a hero who decides to embark on a dangerous journey and overthrow the tyrant.

Game mechanics

In Hyper Light Breaker we observe the action from a third person perspective (TPP). The adventure leads us through various locations, the exploration of which is made more attractive by the possibility of running on the walls or traveling by a futuristic skateboard or a hang glider.

While exploring Overgrowth, we complete tasks, solve puzzles and fight with enemies. Battles are dynamic and you have to show dexterity and reflexes. We eliminate hordes of enemies and powerful bosses by using energetic cold weapons and firearms. With time we gain better tools, thanks to which our combat potential grows.

Between escapades we go to the settlement which serves as a hub. As we progress, the place is gradually expanded - new buildings appear, built by the settlers who come here, many of whom have interesting stories to tell us.

Game modes

Hyper Light Breaker allows you to play solo or in online co-op mode.

Technical aspects

Unlike the previous game in this series, Hyper Light Breaker features fully 3D graphics. Game uses a cartoon-like visual style, which is reminiscent of Heart Machine's earlier work, Solar Ash.
