Climatic Kingdom Eighties Release Date on Consoles and Mobile Devices
Atmospheric strategy game Kingdom Eighties: Summer of Greed is heading to more platforms. In less than two weeks, the game in question will appear on consoles and mobile devices.
Publisher Raw Fury and developer Fury Studios have announced the upcoming release of Kingdom Eighties on more platforms. The game will hit PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and iOS and Android mobile devices on October 16, this year.
- Kingdom Eighties debuted on PC in June 2023. On Steam the described title enjoys "mostly positive" reviews, while on Metacritic, the average rating given to it by industry media is 81/100.
- Kingdom Eighties: Summer of Greed is the fourth installment of the popular strategy game series, which dates back to 2015.
- Unlike earlier parts, which took players to worlds inspired by the medieval era, the latest installment takes us to an alternate version of the 1980s.
- The game's action takes place in a small town that faces a threat from a mysterious force known as Greed, which creates terrifying monsters. A group of brave kids decides to oppose this threat, and the player takes on the role of their leader.
- The action is viewed from the side. In the course of the game we traverse the game world (this time on a bicycle, not a horse, like in the previous parts), obtain resources and prepare the town for defense against attacks from Greed and its monstrous creations.
- In keeping with the tradition of the series, the graphics in Kingdom Eighties: Summer of Greed was made using the pixel art technique, while the game is played to the accompaniment of atmospheric synthwave music.
