Larian Studios Now Officially Has Studio in Poland. Baldur’s Gate 3 Devs Have Opened New Branch in Warsaw
Larian Studios has opened a branch in Poland. The new studio of Baldur's Gate 3 developers is located in Warsaw.
In February, we were the first in the world to receive information that Larian Studios intended to open a new branch located in Poland. Our sources were right - the creators of Baldur's Gate 3 have a new studio. Larian Studios Poland, a limited liability company, was registered in the National Court Register on March 12, 2024.
As we suspected, the branch is located in Warsaw, specifically in Wola, at 87 Grzybowska Street, in the Concept Tower skyscraper (see the photo below).
From information that has been made available to the public about the company, we know that one of the members of the management board of the Polish branch of Larian Studios is Swen Vincke himself, the CEO of the company responsible for, among others, Baldur's Gate 3 and the Divinity: Original Sin series. We do not yet know the details about the developers working at Concept Tower.
Larian Studios is an independent game developer, whose main headquarters is located in Ghent (Belgium). It also has its branches in 6 other countries: Canada, Spain, Ireland, Malaysia, Great Britain, and recently also in Poland.
Currently, Larian Studios is working on further patches for Baldur's Gate 3, but the next 'big game' is on the horizon, which - according to Vincke - has the potential to push many boundaries.
