We found out the size of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy on different hardware platforms. The PlayStation 5 version is a very nice surprise in this respect.
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy will launch tomorrow. The latest game by Eidos Montreal has already made its way into the hands of selected people, thanks to which we learned how much disk space it occupies on each platform.
PlayStation 5 owners should be pleasantly surprised. On this console Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy requires only 31.132 GB. In comparison, the PS4 is 59.997 GB, which is almost twice as much. PC users, in turn, will have to set aside 80 GB on their drives, and on Xbox Series S (and most likely X) - 42.230 GB For now, it is not known how much the game will take on Xbox One .

A key role in the small size of the PS5 version is played by the console's Kraken compression algorithm, which the PlayStation 4 release cannot use.
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy will be released tomorrow, on October 26, on Windows PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Tomorrow, the project will also be made available to Nintendo Switch owners. The version for that console, however, will use streaming technology.
