If you're experiencing low FPS in Metaphor ReFantazio, it might be due to CPU underutilization. Try this simple fix to boost performance.
The creators of Persona and Shin Megami Tensei series have released a sneak peek of their latest game, Metaphor: ReFantazio, with a prologue demo available now ahead of its full release on October 11th. Let’s see if there’s a fix.
It seems inevitable these days. – almost every new PC game or port suffers from poor optimalization. Sadly, Metaphor: ReFantazio demo is no exception, with gamers reporting FPS drops and other performance problems.
Some people have speculated that those issues stem from inefficient CPU utilization. It seems the game is primarily relying on a single CPU core, which can significantly bottleneck performance, leading to frame rate drops and other gameplay hiccups.

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
