Millennia is a game which wants to challenge Civilization series. Many players decided to give this title a chance, and try advertised features, which allow for alternative history development. However, substantial number of people can’t even run the game. The launcher does not respond or shows Unable to Parse the Launcher Settings crash error. If you are among people who can’t start the game, you are not alone. Many fans of strategy games are in the similar situation. Luckily, it seems that the fix is quite simple. It is enough to launch the title from the files.

If you don’t know how to do it, here’s an instruction:

  1. Right click the game in your Steam library.
  2. Now, go to “Manage” and “Browse Local Files”.
  3. Lastly, run exe file from there. It should work properly now.

It is unknow why the problem appears. The good thing is that it is easy to solve. However, it still may be inconvenient to use. For now, you may want to create a shortcut on your desktop, to find the file easier, until the permanent fix appears.
