Naraka: Bladepoint moved to a F2P model on 13th July. With this decision, the mechanic of unlocking characters in the game has also changed. Previously, you could buy a new champion for Tae – a standard currency. Now, you have to get at least 100 Hero Coins to do that.

You can earn those coins in many ways, however, as a F2P player, some of them are limited:

  1. Purchasing them from the Item Shop – all you have to do is to go to the Shop, and then click on the Item tab. There will be Hero Coins available to buy for 120 Tae. Unfortunately, this way is limited, you can only get 35 Hero Coins per week.
  2. The Journey’s Dawn event – With the game's transition to the F2P model, there is a new event where players can earn various rewards by logging in each day for 15 days. On day 2, you'll win 100 Hero Coins, and on day 7 – 65 HC.
  3. Training mode – once you have completed the tutorial, you will gain access to Specialized Practice. The game will teach you some complex mechanics. If you complete the given tasks correctly, you will receive interesting prizes, including Hero Coins.
  4. Exchanging gold for Hero Coins – this is the last method to get Hero Coins, however, in most cases, you must spend real money to have a gold currency.
