According to new rumors, the visuals in Need for Speed 2022 will offer a combination of realistic cars and locations with cartoonish elements. In addition, Autolog is expected to return.
We still don't know when the next installment of Need for Speed is coming out. However, new reliable rumors about what the game will offer have appeared in the web.
The source of these reports is usually a very well informed journalist Jeff Grubb from Venture Beat. He revealed the new information in a recent episode of the GrubbSnax podcast.
According to earlier reports, the new NFS is to be released this year pn PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
The project is being worked on by studio Criterion, known from the Burnout series. Ghost, the team responsible for the four previous installments of the series, is currently undergoing restructuring, but some of its employees are said to have been delegated to help with the new Need for Speed.
According to previous rumors the next installment of the series will be a return to the atmosphere of Need for Speed: ProStreet. If you want to return to the PC version of this hit, it is worth to look for some useful mods.
