Unexpectedly, the update to No Man’s Sky was published today. It is called Interceptor. It is quite a big one, which adds more enemies, new starships and many more changes. if you have taken a break from the game, now is a good time to get back to it. One of a very exciting changes in NMS is a new corrupted world. In this guide we will talk abut it.

Corrupted Worlds in NMS

Corrupted worlds are quite a novelty in No Man’s Sky. They were created in the place of some planets that previously had generated extreme Sentinels. The have unique visual effect, so you should go there to check this out – especially if there was superheated rainstorm on the planet (before the change). You will see a new, strange storm in its place.

However, corrupted worlds are not only about visuals. You will be able to discover many secrets. There are new buildings on these worlds. Those abandoned encampments are a key to get new starship. During travels, you have to watch out because corrupted worlds spawn unique planetary Sentinel forces. However, people who decide to battle them will get new player titles.

There are also new missions available at the Nexus. Their objective is to destroy special machinery found on corrupted worlds.
