Civilization's Rival Old World Coming to Steam and Getting Expansion

Mohawk Games revealed the release date of the strategy game Old World on Steam and announced the first expansion for this production.

Old World will debut on Steam on May 19 this year. On the same day the game will also be available for purchase on GOG.com.

Recall that so far the game was an Epic Games Store exclusive, where it launched in early access in May 2020, and the release of version 1.0 took place on July 1, 2021.

Old World: Heroes of the Aegean expansion announced

At the same time Mohawk Games has announced the first expansion, titled Heroes of the Aegean.

1. The expansion will focus on ancient Greece.
2. The add-on will offer six new scenarios.
3. Players will be able to take on the role of famous historical figures such as Themistocles, Leonidas, Alexander the Great and Pausanias.
4. Every owner of Old World will be able to get the Heroes of the Aegean for free for the first two weeks after its release. After that, the DLC will become a paid product for all.
5. No word yet on when the DLC will debut, but we expect it to happen around the release of Old World on Steam.
