And although their paths diverge after that day, their fates are still connected. What we have here is a romantic comedy-drama, which will be perfect for a Valentine's Day screening, despite as many as 14 episodes.

Especially since critics are highly praising this upcoming limited series from Netflix, which which debuted on February 8. On Rotten Tomatoes, One Day has a perfect score of 100% based on 10 reviews, in which critics have a lot of good things to say about Nicole Taylor's work, which stars Leo Woodall and Ambika Mod.

The Hollywood Reporter’s Angie Han wrote that the chemistry between the lead actors makes the series an enjoyable show.

The spark between Emma and Dexter burns bright enough throughout to make the ride more enjoyable than not.

Total Film’s Emily Garbutt also praises the chemistry between Woodall and Mod.

Ambika Mod and Leo Woodall anchor One Day with easy chemistry, making it easy to root for the central couple in Netflix’s romantic drama. The series wears its sincerity on its sleeve and, mostly, pulls it off.

Variety’s Aramide Tinubu describes the series as a romantic story that isn’t a fairy tale and shows reality as it is.

Though there are moments of romance, the show is no fairy tale. Instead, it presents the experience of being alive for precisely what it is, with all the magic and anxiety that come with it.

According to Vanity Fair’s Richard Lawson it's a graceful series that presents history with flair.

Conversation is credible, pitched in the language of real people that age. The heavier stuff is deftly handled, with compassion and understatement. One Day is a graceful series, woozy and clear-eyed at once.

As you can see, the reviews paint a picture of a really solid production, which is worth paying attention to if you like romantic stories. And due to the fact that this is a limited series, we’re assured that we’ll get a complete story that won’t be cut off at the least opportune moment.
