One of the most powerful spells in Baldur's Gate 3 lets you even kiss a companion. It is available at level 1 but you’re probably ignoring it

Baldur's Gate 3 allows you to implement many interesting ways to resolve conflicts or get rid of enemies in in a spectacular manner. In many cases, the only thing limiting us is our own imagination, not the game. It’s easy to combine items such as explosive barrels and fire spells to see burning enemies. But many players forget that non-combat abilities can give you the same effect or even better. Moreover, what if I told you that there is a spell you can use on your companion to get a kiss? There is an underrated magic that does it all.

It's no secret that in BG3 you can romance your party members. One of them is Karlach. However, due to her condition (she has an Infernal Engine instead of a heart), she is very hot… literally, she can burn you. You need to cool her down to get a kiss. You can use various means to do that. One of them is a powerful 1st level spell, and many players seem to forget about it.

We are talking about "Create (or destroy) Water." This is a spell which can be used by Clerics and Druids from the beginning. It allows the caster to create rain over a large area (it gets even bigger if casted using a higher level spell slots). While it does not deal damage on its own (though it can protect you from fire), it is very versatile, and can be used to empower other elements like lightning and cold to freeze or electrocute foes. It even helps detect invisible enemies. Moreover, casting it does not trigger combat! While some may argue that it is enough to throw a container with water, to get the same effect, let us remind you that such items have a very small range and are not effective when we fight larger groups of enemies.

In addition to all of the above, Create Water can be used as our wingman, which allows us to kiss Karlach. Just use this spell on her when she asks for a kiss. As you can see, with so many uses, it is a spell worth having always near.
