People were lured into the grim valley from The Blood of Dawnwalker in a simple way. The valley's treasure might be the key to their survival
As befits a vampire RPG, silver will almost certainly play a key role in The Blood of Dawnwalker. A new note from Rebel Wolves studio brings us closer to the Vale of Sangora's capital.

The Rebel Wolves studio has been publishing short posts for a month, gradually bringing us closer to the world of The Blood of Dawnwalker. We also received another such note this week. It introduced us to the name of the castle in the Vale of Sangora and the primary reason for people settling in the secluded city of Svartrau.
Having arrived in Svartrau, the capital of Vale Sangora, I gazed at its imposing cathedral and the mighty Greifberg castle, looming on the crags up above. They seemed out of place here, at the edge of the world, miles away from the nearest town. Why would anyone settle here?
The answer was simple: silver. The surrounding mountains were rich with it, and its cold gleam lured men like moths to a fire. The rocky slopes were pockmarked with mines' entrances, and the pickaxes' steady knocking echoed throughout the valley all day long, resembling a prisoner's rapping against the walls of his cell...
It seems that the Greifberg castle will be a very important location in the upcoming RPG. The building is likely visible in the initial few seconds of the official game trailer, which was shown in January 2025.
The second important piece of information from the recently published post is the reason for people staying in the capital. They mainly settled there because of the silver mined in the nearby mines. According to folk beliefs, this metal can protect against vampires.
The developers haven't yet provided an approximate release date for The Blood of Dawnwalker. The title is to be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
