Split Fiction is a third-person perspective adventure game that relies mainly on cooperation, not a solo experience. You can only play this title in co-op mode. Because of this, players are wondering if it is possible to join forces with someone who owns a copy of the game on a different platform. You can find out more about crossplay between PC, PS5 and Xbox in our article.

Split Fiction – Crossplay explained

Not surprisingly, players wonder whether crossplay in Split Fiction exists between supported platforms – PC, PS5 and Xbox. After all, the game is mostly about cooperating with other people, and not every person has the same gaming device. Fortunately for many of you, the good news is that this production features crossplay. No matter which platform you play on, you can still enjoy the game with your friends.

What may also please players is the fact that only one person needs to own a copy of the game to play. A player without a purchased game need only to download Friend's Pass, which is free. This also applies to other platforms. It is enough for the person who bought Split Fiction to send an invite to their friend. Just remember to enable crossplay option.

  1. On PlayStation, all you have to do is go to the options menu, move to privacy settings and enable this option there.
  2. On Xbox, on the other hand, you have to go into account settings and there indicate that you allow crossplay.

Moreover, keep in mind that if you are playing on an Xbox or PlayStation console, you must have an active Game Pass or PlayStation Plus subscription to play with other people.
