Yesterday, Nintendo released an announcement trailer for Pikmin 3 Deluxe. The deluxe version of Pikmin 3 will include all downloadable content that was released for the original game as well as some new side missions featuring Olimar and Louie, the characters from the first two Pikmin games.

Since the Switch was released in 2017, fans have been waiting for Pikmin to make it to the platform. The years of waiting are almost over, as the Pikmin 3 Deluxe version will release for the Switch on October 30th.

The game will also feature a cooperative story mode. This is a first for the Pikmin series. It is unclear if this will only be local co-op or online.

So pick your friends and pick your pikmin, the adventure starts on October 30th!
