Wuthering Waves was released a few hours ago and thousands of players are roaming through this magical world right now. The title is free to play, so everyone can try it. Of course, if you like it well enough, you may even want to pay for Lunite Subscription to support developers. Well, unless you are Canadian or Norwegian, in these cases you can’t. Problems with Zip Code plague players.

Problems with Zip Codes in Wuthering Waves (WuWa)

So, you want to buy something in Wuthering Waves, as Lunite Subscription is a tempting choice. You enter your cards data and… the game asks you for a 5-digit zip code. In many countries it is not a problem. You write it down (sometimes google it earlier) and you are good to go. However, not all people are so lucky.

On the official Discord we may find many surprised and dissatisfied voices, as not all people can enter 5-digit zip codes, and it is the only format which is accepted. There are 2 good examples of that:

  1. Canada, where there is postal code in use with numbers and letters.
  2. Norway, in this country people use only 4 numbers.

We are sure that if we look at it closer, more countries will emerge with similar problems. Taking into consideration the scale of the issue, we assume that it will be fixed as soon as possible. It is highly unlikely that Kuro Games would not help so many players, especially those who want to support the studio with money. To speed up the process, you may leave a comment on the official Discord channel linked above or leave feedback through in-game link.
