AMD is putting more and more pressure on Nvidia.

New AMD Navi series GPUs were officially announced at the turn of May and June during the Computex event. However, it is only now - during E3 2019 - that we are going to learn more about them. Meanwhile, the day before the show organized by AMD, a leak appeared on the web presenting some of the parameters and the appearance of the new Radeon RX 5700 XT GPU.

Looks good.

VideoCardz.com has published graphics with the characteristics of the chip, from which we can learn that it will be equipped with 40 computing units, 2560 shaders, 8 gigabytes of GDDR6 memory and have a computing power of 9.75 teraflops. The base clock of the GPU will be 1605 MHz, while in the boost mode it will increase even to 1905 MHz.

On the presented graphics, looking like a slide presentation prepared for the Next Horizon Gaming event, we can see another interesting parameter - "Game Clock". So it looks like the new Radeon will have a special mode that will activate while playing and turn up the GPU to 1755 MHz.

The upcoming generation of graphics cards from AMD is moving away from the GCN (Graphics Core Next) architecture to a new one known as Radeon DNA (RDNA). The new Navi family of systems will be manufactured in 7 nm technology. More details about them we should know during the event prepared by AMD, which will take place on June 10.
