Return to Monkey Island Will Present Its Charms Soon
We learned the release date for Return to Monkey Island, Ron Gilbert's highly anticipated comedy adventure game. A new trailer for the project was also shown.
A trailer for Return to Monkey Island, the new installment of one of the most important adventure series of all time, was shown during the gamescom 2022 Opening Night Live presentation.
The trailer presents the various locations we will visit during the story and the characters we will encounter on our way. Thee video also reveals the release date, which is scheduled for September 19, this year. So we won't have to wait long to return to Monkey Island.
Return to Monkey Island is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch. The PC edition will be sold on Steam. The game is being worked on by veterans of the brand, including its father Ron Gilbert, Dave Grossman and composers Peter McConnell, Michael Land and Clint Bajakian. The game is characterized by a highly unusual graphic style (it caused considerable controversy some time ago), for which Rex Crowle is responsible. The artist previously performed the same role for Knights & Bikes and Tearaway.
