Return to Monkey Island launched today on PC and Nintendo Switch to very positive reviews.

The release of Return to Monkey Island proved to be a success. The title ended up on the fourth spot of the list of best-selling games on Steam, and in the peak it was played on Valve's platform by more than 15 thousand users. In addition 96% of players rated the title positively.
It's been a long time coming, but players can finally return to Monkey Island - only do they have a reason to? Apparently yes, at least if judging by the first reviews of Return to Monkey Island, which debuted today on PC and Nintendo Switch.
Guybrush Threepwood was able to return in new visuals (and along with music, praised by many reviewers, despite the pre-release "criticism"), but it's still good old Monkey Island.
Return to Monkey Island has everything that fans loved the previous installments of the series for. So get ready for a nostalgic adventure full of humorous dialogues and clever (and equally entertaining) puzzles.
However, as Ron Gilbert assured, the new Monkey Island is not (just) a return to retro. The developers have added quite a few modern improvements, and the puzzles are rarely as abstract as in typical 90s adventure games. Thanks to this Return to Monkey Island is a game that will appeal to both veterans and players just starting out with the series.
